St. Michael’s Abbey is a sacred place for prayer and reflection

Online registration strongly encouraged. Registration opens approximately 30 days before the retreat.

Retreatants are encouraged to join the abbey community for regularly-scheduled prayers. Click here for the prayer schedule.

Meals and over-night accommodations are not included

You are welcome to pray in the abbey church before and after the scheduled retreat events.

Silence is encouraged, to foster recollection and prayer.

During some retreats there may be photography, filming, audio recording or other means of capturing your image or voice for media or other printed materials (including social media and websites).

Dress Code

Whenever you visit the abbey, please dress in a dignified manner and refrain from wearing revealing or inappropriate attire (including tank tops, muscle shirts, shorts, yoga pants, etc.), and please cover any tattoos that may be offensive to others.

We are grateful for your respectful consideration and cooperation.

If you have any questions, or would like to schedule group retreats,
please contact our Retreat Director at Retreats@stmichaelsabbey.com .

The
Abbot’s Circle

Is a first-of-its-kind virtual monastery—an evolving, curated library that offers an inside look at the artistic, cultural, intellectual, and spiritual work that the Norbertines of St. Michael’s Abbey carry out each day for the praise and honor of Jesus Christ.
